A Note From Fran
Reach Out & Reshape the World
How often have you watched a news report or read a magazine article and thought, I really wish I could help. Perhaps I could do... But before you know it your mind is distracted and you move on to another task.
I have felt this way many, many times throughout my career, particularly as a business owner. There is never enough time in the day (or in my case, my extended day-which often lasts till about 11:00 pm at night, with laptop in bed) to finish all the tasks and the to do that crowd my schedule each week.
So I finally bit the bullet and put pen to paper. My goal list, written during a spa visit, back in December, contained two very important items that I am happy to say have now been put into action: MY BLOG and the My Equilibrium Coach for Kids Project. Both have been under development for quite some time. And I truly believe that both will be contributions in time and resources to improving the lives and health of countless individuals.
While the MyEquilibriumCoach for Kids project has many pertinent pieces that still being melded together (I'll share more with you in next month's newsletters), our blog is now up for your review, comments and intense scrutinization! How to Lose Weight at Work - Customizing Corporate Wellness
For those of you out there that believe a customized wellness program is having an employee lottery to determine how far the snack vending machines should be placed from the elevators, think again. A customized corporate wellness program should be versatile and tailored to meet the needs and goals of varied employee groups such as baby boomers, pregnant mothers, generation X and so on. In this way your corporate wellness program ensures participation and success for the employees it serves.
Group Coaching

Employee Spotlight - "It's My Turn": Susie Clark, Executive Assistant Extraordinaire! |
Hi, I'm Susie Clark, Executive Assistant to the CEO, Fran Dean Bishop, of Aerobodies Fitness. I really enjoy working with Aerobodies because I am constantly challenged. I can take charge of different projects to see them through to the end. I love that fitness and health are a part of my everyday at work; bringing it to the forefront on my mind. Being a member of the Aerobodies team also makes it easier for me to focus on my health and well-being.
My mission and passion for my health in 2008 is to get fit again. I moved to Virginia three years ago, and have yet to find the time and energy to work out like I was before I moved here. I was in shape and felt great! I know that I will get encouragement from my Aerobodies team to go to fitness classes (pilates is my favorite) and eat the right foods to achieve my goals.
One of Aerobodies' programs I'm most excited about is our new My Equilibrium Coach, Boot Camp Focus Group. With the assistance of MyEquiilibriumCoach.com and our BootCamp leader Brian, my team of 9 brave females and I will be whipped into great shape over the next 12 weeks.
