Health & Wellness Workshops
Aerobodies Wellness Workshops are designed to provide a stimulus towards an active, healthier lifestyle. Our workshops can be held as brown bag luncheons and may include the following topics:
Keep it Moving
In this 60-minute interactive workshop, participants will learn how to create a fun, diverse and effective exercise program that will promote positive changes for lifelong fitness success. Participants will also learn tools and skills to support their fitness goals and prevent/reduce self-sabotaging habits.
Positive Commitments to Fitness
During this six-week seminar/workshop, participants are instructed on how to evaluate their own individual fitness levels, set realistic goals/objectives and reach them. During three hands-on sessions in the weight room, participants will develop their step-by-step fitness program. Each session will be followed up by an in-class workshop on various fitness topics. An excellent class for varying fitness levels. This is a lecture/workout.
Integrating Mind and Body Techniques for Stress Reduction
Can a person be fit and still not well? This workshop will demonstrate the integration of mind/body practices that help persons achieve harmony within self and with those around us. Participants will learn how to combine meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques and other kinetic modes to achieve a balance in body, mind and spirit.
Creating Your Own In-Home Gym
There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars on expensive exercise/fitness equipment for your home. Learn to make the most out of your home employing various creative fitness techniques. Using the yard, furniture (indoor and out), plus loads of other household goodies, create the perfect environment for getting into shape and staying there. Money is no longer an excuse to procrastinate. Develop a fitness routine in the comfort of your own home, at low cost with high returns!
The Fitness Challenge
This exciting workshop and workout emphasizes the core training that is necessary and often overlooked in an exercise routine. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest equipment, fitness trends and fundamental training programs such as Pilates and plyometrics. Next the speaker will lead the entire group in a light core conditioning exercise that will leave you feeling inspired and invigorated.
Lifelong Strategies for Healthy Living
In this 60-minute workshop participants will learn how to create their very own Lifestyle Investment Plan. The plan created will encompass healthy lifestyle therapies and strategies that will effectively counteract the stressful triggers of a hectic lifestyle. Participants will also learn how to effectively integrate these life strategies into their own daily routine.
Reboot Your Body
In this one hour workshop find out the latest creative tools for functional fitness, high energy nutrition and anti-aging supplements.
Equilibrium: Balancing Life amidst the Chaos
An interactive seminar that focuses on the four components of lifestyle balance: health, family, work and personal empowerment. Participants are given practices and exercises to inspire accountability, behavioral change and self efficacy.
